MADE Chamber + CDC is a 501c6 organization that unites the combined strengths of the MADE Chamber and MADE CDC for the benefit of the MADE region by creating a unified implementation team on behalf of both organizations. The Sales Manager is a results-driven professional responsible for growing revenue, expanding membership and sponsorships, and building strong relationships across the Mason Deerfield Chamber and its affiliated initiatives. This full-time, exempt position focuses on strategic sales execution to advance the organization missions to help businesses succeed, people thrive, and to support the continued evolution of our community. The Sales Manager will lead efforts to increase earned income, secure sponsorships, and deliver measurable value to members and partners. This role reports directly to the President/CEO. 

Core Responsibilities 
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth 

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to meet organizational goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle and process from prospecting to closing, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support major sponsorships and multi-year investment agreements, ensuring value delivery and retention.
  • Design compelling sales packages that highlight member benefits and community impact.
  • Track performance metrics, retention rates, and ROI using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast revenue and align sales goals with budget targets.
Member Engagement & Relationship Building 
  • Guide and transition new members through the member journey process to ensure valuable onboarding and meaningful engagement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with business leaders and community partners.
  • Identify member needs and recommend programs, events, and sponsorships that maximize value.
  • Spotlight member success stories and promote engagement through recognition initiatives including social media campaigns.
  • Event & Program Support 
  • Represent the Chamber at networking events, ribbon cuttings, business roundtables, and community forums to generate leads and strengthen engagement.
  • Partner with the events team to integrate sponsorship opportunities into Chamber programs.
  • Ensure sponsor deliverables are met before, during, and after events.
Qualifications 
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of membership models and sponsorship structures.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and basic reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets.
The MADE team is dynamic and committed to the success of our organization and community. While team members are given flexibility – they are held accountable for performance measurements to ensure objectives are achieved. We run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), and candidates should consider reading the book “Traction” to get a basic understanding of how the organization operates. Early mornings and occasional evening meetings are a part of our work, and all team members are asked to attend as appropriate. Applicants must be able to travel efficiently to off-site meeting locations throughout the region.
