Description
Enjoy coffee, a sweet treat, and share your "Sweet MUMories" of your time at Miami University Middletown. These will be recorded as part of an Oral History project. If you have old photos to share please bring them for us to scan and return at the event for our photo archive. With technology involving so quickly research methods are not the same as they were when the Gardner-Harvey Library opened in 1966. It opened with about 6,000 volumes and held 64,000 when its first head librarian, Virginia Brown, retired at the end of December 1978. Belinda Martindell, Virginia Ellis Palmer and John Burke invite you to share your great research stories, how the library has changed, special events hosted by the library and for those who spent time working there sharing what went on behind the stacks.
