Steep Canyon Rangers with special guest Che Apalache will perform in Middletown at 7 pm Saturday, March 21, 2020. The Rangers push and pull the boundaries of bluegrass music. Their most recent release, Out in the Open, is the band’s sixth album to earn the top spot on the bluegrass charts. Spontaneity adds spark and texture to an energetic setlist, making every show refreshingly different. Che Apalache, a string band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, will open the show. Che’s most recent album was produced by Bela Fleck.
