Savor a Musical Evening with Piano and Clarinet Espresso

Description

This duo is comprised of classically trained pianist, Barbara Crouse, and accomplished clarinetist, Deborah Yurasek, who will perform a selection of classical, American standards and contemporary tunes. They offer interesting contextual historical insights about composers and musical genres. Crouse has taught hundreds of piano students and served as Music Director in the field of church music in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia and Ohio. She is rehearsal accompanist for the Lebanon Symphony Chorus and harpist/organist with the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra. Yurasek excelled in band and solo ensemble competitions, was principal clarinetist for a Michigan high school All Stars Band, and was awarded a scholarship to attend Interlochen?s summer program. Following a long hiatus, she recently returned to her early musical foundation. Verity Traditions connects community and campus with the traditions of Verity Lodge. Light refreshments will be served 15 minutes prior to each program. These programs are free and open to the public.
