Description
The Mason Public Library is proud to host local author and historian Gary Knepp for an insightful presentation on Southern Ohio native, President Ulysses S. Grant. Mr. Knepp will discuss the impact of Grant’s presidency, as well as his ties to other Ohio presidents, such as James A. Garfield and Rutherford B. Hayes. Mr. Knepp is an attorney and retired adjunct professor of history and political science at the University of Cincinnati’s Clermont College. An author of several historical books, Mr. Knepp has served as the director of the Clermont County Underground Railroad Research Project, as well as co-chair of the Clermont County U.S. Grant Bicentennial Committee. Mr. Knepp has also appeared as a guest historian on the hit PBS show History Detectives.
