At the core of Industry 4.0 is connectivity and communication. In this brief seminar, we will discuss
the data and methods utilized by Mitutoyo’s Metrology equipment to communicate in the U-Wave
wireless system. MeasurLink® will be highlighted as a means to gather measured data from virtually
any device and upload it to a centralized network. And Status Monitor will be discussed as a means
to share process information such as machine status, availability and uptime.

Surface finish is more than just a callout on a blueprint. Join this seminar and find out the benefits of
measuring and maintaining proper surface finish requirements. The Mitutoyo lineup of surface finish
systems and their uses will be discussed from handheld profilometers to lab grade measurement
devices. The fundamentals of testing as well as some tips on how to maintain and use the equipment
are part of this discussion.

Most everyone has Mitutoyo gages in their inspection lab. Our gages are known for accuracy and
repeatability, but many of our gages are also well suited for use on the shop floor. In this seminar,
we will discuss what features of our gages enable them to provide accurate, repeatable measurements
in the challenging environment of the manufacturing floor. Coolant proof hand gages, robust
data collection hardware and shop-hardened CNC metrology equipment will be highlighted and the
technology used to ensure their continued use will be discussed.
