Karen Wellington Foundation 5K FUN Run

Description

Karen Wellington Foundation is hosting a 5k FUN Run at the Voice of America MetroPark on August 17th. Our mission is simple. We put FUN on the calendars of women and families LIVING with breast cancer by sending them on special vacations, relaxing spa days, concerts and other FUN-ONLY activities. Since 2007 our recipients have traded in chemo chairs for sunrise hikes and hot air balloon rides. Whether they are enjoying a relaxing spa day with friends or skydiving in their hometown, over 3,000 recipients have said "YES" to KWF.

Join us for our recipient & community celebration, where the festivities continue after the 5K race ends. From delicious food trucks to cold beverages, prizes, live music, mission moments and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy as we come together to celebrate!
