Apprisen is proud to be conducting a first-time Homebuyer’s Workshop, on Saturday, February 21. Apprisen is a local nonprofit consumer credit counseling agency, providing personal financial and housing counseling and financial education to clients. Although targeted toward the first-time purchaser, the workshop is open to anyone interested in home ownership or the buying process, in general. The workshop is free of charge, and those who complete it will receive a HUD homebuyer certificate.
Along with certified counselors from Apprisen, speaking on topics that include Preparing for Home Ownership, Understanding Spending Plans and Credit Reports, and Default Protection, there will be a lender, and licensed realtor, on site, to discuss their roles in the buying process and answer any questions.
Should you know of someone interested in purchasing a home, for the first-time, this workshop is a perfect opportunity for them to gain valuable knowledge on the home buying process.
