This workshop is geared towards individuals, businesses and non-profit associations that want to learn how to use Facebook pages to market their products and services. Many Fortune 500 Companies and non-profit associations have Facebook pages so that they can enhance their relationships with their clients/community.
The objectives for this workshop are to understand: - The various elements available within Facebook pages - Create a Facebook fan page - Establish the security for your fan page and tabs - Be able to create links to articles, upload photos/video, create events, add notes, etc. ? Learn basic marketing strategies for Facebook - Begin to acquire fans.

Attendees to this class should:
• Have an understanding of social media and social networking
• A clear understand of the brand image that you want to promote
• Have a Facebook account
• Have a working understanding of Facebook
• Bring a WiFi enabled laptop so that you can work on your Facebook page
Things you might want to bring with you are:
•A logo for your business or non-profit
•A detailed description of your company and location/organizational details
•Photos and/or videos for your website
•One or more links to articles, websites that you can put on your page
•A list of your clients or fans that you want to invite as fans for your page
