One of the best ways to become a skilled filmmaker is to study and enjoy the greatest directors in cinema history. The UG Academy of Cinematic Arts' (UGACA) monthly Director Series takes a fun and informative look at both classic and contemporary film directors who have created and shaped the motion picture industry. On Tuesday, July 30, film educator, cinema historian, and theatre series curator Joe Horine,  introduces Orson Welles' representative works and leads a discussion following the screening of Citizen Kane … all in a social environment that includes dinner, dessert, and drinks.
