Join us as we celebrate the community! Start the day off at Deerfield Towne Center for the Treat Street Drive-Thru. The community will then be encouraged to stay for lunch or a snack at the many delicious dining options at the center before heading to downtown Mason for the CommUNITY Car Parade. Stay for dinner and enjoy live music at 16 Lots Brewing Co., Adesso, The Common Beer Co. and Empañadas Aqui! Use the city’s DORA and take your drink around town while visiting the stores, bars and restaurants participating in the Community Unity Day.

Load the family up and drive-thru Deerfield Towne Center and Deerfield Township’s spooktacular Treat Street Drive-Thru. Come dressed in your favorite costume or decorate your car. Swag bags with all the treats and an interactive activity will be handed out at the beginning of the route while supplies last.
Please enter the Regal Cinemas’ parking lot using Wilkins Road onto New Irwin Simpson Road.
Community Unity Car Parade

The parade will begin at the Meyer Center near St. Susanna Catholic Church and make it’s way down US-42, ending at Sundin Fields at Heritage Oak Park. Participants are asked to meet at the Meyer Center on St. Susanna’s campus between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. to get set up for the parade. Show your community pride by decorating your cars in support of the Comets, Knights or a local business! If you are coming from Treat Street, you’re welcome to decorate for Halloween. We just ask that participants PLEASE REFRAIN FROM POLITICAL/ELECTION SIGNAGE.

Before and after the parade, we encourage you to go to Deerfield or Mason and stop by a local shop or grab food and drinks. 16 Lots Brewing Co. will have live music starting at 6:00 p.m. The Common Beer Company and Adesso will have live music beginning at 7:00 p.m.
A list of other participating businesses and restaurants, along with their special offers, will be available on the chamber’s website. Additionally, a flyer with business information will be handed out to participants of the Car Parade. Businesses will be given window decals to hang in their windows so patrons will be able to easily identify participating businesses.
These businesses will have special promotions, celebrations or extended hours during Community Unity Day on Saturday. Make sure you check them out and support locally MADE!
