Description
Join your friends and neighbors in Mason for the annual kick off to the Christmas season in our community. Our traditional Christmas in Mason event will be along Main Street in downtown, between the public library and Mason-Montgomery Road. There will plenty of great food, tasty hot beverages, and fun activities to enjoy. The event begins with a procession down Main Street that brings ol' St. Nick to the plaza for the lighting of the tree. This year, Mrs. Claus will be joining us for the festivities as well.
There will be holiday music from the stage, strolling carolers and musicians along the street, a magic show, carriage rides, and more. The young ladies from Little Miss Heritage and the Christmas in Mason pageant will also be greeting everyone from the stage and introducing their guests from around the state. Kids can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus on the plaza and create a fun craft at the Toymaker's Workshop, just across the street. Local businesses, food vendors, area restaurants, and plenty of activities will be part of the fun. Be sure to have your little ones visit our Stocking Stops during the evening. Locations are listed on the Activities page of this website.
The event begins at 6:00pm as the procession steps off near Mason-Montgomery, heading west toward the plaza. The fun continues until 9:00pm. So, bundle up and come on out for a festive time in Mason.
