The Mason Area Arts Council Invites All Mason Businesses and Organizations
to
The City of Mason’s AUTUMNFEST
Sponsored by the Department of Parks and Recreation
The Mason Area Arts Council is inaugurating a
Professionally Painted Pumpkin Gallery
Highlighting our many creative, artistic, and “spirited” Merchants!
- Register by October 20! By Email: Send your name, phone number, and business name to eeichler@cinci.rr.com at the Mason Area Arts Council. In person: Bring Entry Form to the Community Center (Attn: Chrissy Avery).
- Only fresh real pumpkins, gourds or squash may be used. You select your canvas!
- Entries may be painted, glittered, objects affixed, surface carved, tattooed, pierced, etc. but HOLLOWING OUT PUMPKINS IS NOT PERMITTED.
- All pre-registered pumpkins must arrive on Festival grounds between 1 – 3 PM Oct. 25 (next to the Lou Eves pool).
- You will be provided with a label for the title (required!) of your entry.
- CREATIVITY IS ENCOURAGED! However, you must provide all electricity, running water, entourage, medical staff and/or emergency stylists for your entry. No candles or open flames. No living creatures. (Someone asked!)
- This show is designed to highlight the skills and creativity of the Mason merchants and businesses as well as inspire and involve our community. You must be a business, merchant, artist, or non-profit organization to enter this show. Entries must be “family friendly.”
HERE ARE THE RULES:
Pumpkins must be picked up after the voting--by 8:30 PM on October 25—to proudly display in your store or office, or it will be discarded. Ten of the highest vote-getters will have the opportunity to be displayed in the windows of Yost’s Pharmacy from October 26 until November 1.
