A Visit from Legendary Radio DJ Dusty Rhodes

Long-running local disc jockey Dusty Rhodes will visit the library to talk about his time on the air in Cincinnati that started at WSAI back in the early 1960s where he became one of the "Good Guys" and helped bring The Beatles to Cincinnati on their first tour in 1964. Rhodes went on to DJ at WLW, WKRC and WGRR over the years and can still be heard on the airwaves weekly at both WMKV (89.9 and 89.3 FM) and The Oasis (97.7, 106.7 and 94.5 FM) where he hosts fun radio retrospectives looking back at the history of Rock and Roll and radio with clips from broadcasts and DJs of the past while highlighting lesser known songs alongside timeless hits.
