In the mid 70's, Dr. Kenzo Kase, DC developed Kinesio Tape. Kinesio Tape has the texture and elasticity very close to living human skin. The tape can be used to:
· Reeducate the nervous system
· Enhance performance
· Reduce pain
· Prevent injury
· Promote improved circulation and healing
Kinesio Tape was made popular during the Beijing Olympics. Many participants were taped to help recover from injuries and to help them perform better. Tiger Woods, Kerry Walsh and Lance Armstrong are both fans of Kinesio Tape.
