Next up is Wade, our University of Cincinnati co-op who is helping shape the future of the Mason Mile through his work with MADECDC.

Meet Wade

What's your role at MADECDC?
"My role at MADECDC is to focus on community development and implement the master plan for the Mason Mile through creative strategies, engagement with multiple entities, and collaboration with coworkers and other sources to create new ideas and achieve objectives as a team."

Wade joined the Chamber team in January 2026 as a University of Cincinnati co-op and has quickly become an important part of the MADECDC team. His work focuses on bringing ideas to life that help create a more vibrant, welcoming, and connected Mason Mile while supporting long-term community development goals.

As part of his co-op experience, Wade enjoys combining creativity with practical problem-solving, learning firsthand how thoughtful planning and collaboration can make a lasting impact on a community.

• Favorite part of your job: My favorite part of my job has been expressing my creative skills through my work while also making it realistic and reasonably achievable. A close tie with that would be taking site visits and learning new things about the Mason Mile!
• Something members might be surprised you handle: Photography! I can often be found capturing photos during Chamber and MADECDC events to help tell the story of our community.
• A project you're especially proud of: I'm currently working on creating a cohesive and vibrant Main Street through a signage program. This project has allowed me to get my feet on the ground, learn about the businesses along the Mason Mile, and explore how we can begin implementation through the Facade Improvement Program.
• One Chamber event you never miss: Connections MADE Happy Hour.

Outside the Office

When he's not working on community development projects, Wade enjoys exploring new places and trying new restaurants, especially with friends. His curiosity and willingness to discover new experiences carry over into his work, where he's always looking for fresh ideas that can help strengthen the Mason Mile.
