First up is Tara Barry, our Retention Accounts Manager!

Meet Tara

What's your role at the Chamber?
"I partner with members to understand their goals and help them maximize the full value of their membership."

Tara joined the MADE Chamber team in September 2025 and has quickly become a trusted resource for members looking to get involved, make meaningful connections, and take advantage of everything the Chamber has to offer.

Originally from the Boston area, Tara earned her degree in English from the University of Massachusetts and built an impressive career in communications and project management. Her experience includes working as a proofreader for a national newswire service, serving as a project editor for a technical publisher, and leading projects as Copy Chief for a retail sales training consulting company in the high-tech industry. Her attention to detail, organization, and communication skills make her a tremendous asset to both our team and our members.

Something members might be surprised you handle:
Ribbon cuttings! I help coordinate these special celebrations that welcome new businesses, recognize milestones, and celebrate growth throughout our community.

A project you're especially proud of:
Helping with the Gems of Excellence Awards during my first year with the Chamber. I loved being part of the teamwork that made our biggest event of the year possible, as well as seeing everyone's commitment to our members and each other.

Outside the Office

When she's not connecting with members, Tara enjoys traveling with her husband and three children to visit family in the Boston area. She also loves visiting her college-aged kids in Columbus and Knoxville, cheering on the Buckeyes and Volunteers, and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Griffin, and rescue cat, Leo.
