The new Walgreens store at 8060 Mason-Montgomery Rd. in Mason carries more than 25,000 everyday items, including medications, fine fragrances and cosmetics, Hallmark greeting cards, small electronics, fountain drinks, Icees, fresh coffee, dairy products, frozen foods, snacks and much more. Customers will find convenient services such as full-time beauty advisors and one-hour photofinishing. Walgreens photo specialists will help customers use their favorite family photos or digital images to create greeting cards, gifts, postage stamps and more.

Walgreens advanced pharmacy system, Intercom Plus, links all its pharmacies, keeps customer records and helps pharmacists prepare prescriptions. The system makes it possible for customers to refill prescriptions at any of the 5,600 Walgreens locations across the country. The drugstore also offers a drive-thru pharmacy, and Auto Prefills, a system that will mark monthly medications to be refilled automatically, then calls to remind you the prescription is ready for pick up. Walgreens is the only the pharmacy that offers patient counseling and prescription labels in 14 languages as well as large-type drug information sheets for the visually impaired.
