Description
The Carolina Chocolate Drops are best known for their sound, rooted in traditional African-American string band music with a hip-hop and a soul element. Their current record, Leaving Eden, is the follow-up to 2010's Grammy Award-winning "Genuine Negro Jig," which reached number one on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart and number two on the Billboard Heatseekers and Folk Charts. A new album is in the works for 2015.
