Sweet MUMories: Encore

Description

Enjoy coffee, a sweet treat, and share your "Sweet MUMories" of your time at Miami University Middletown. These will be recorded as part of an Oral History project. If you have old photos to share please bring them for us to scan and return at the event for our photo archive. Honoring her late husband, Gladys Finkelman provided the initial funding for the Dave Finkelman Auditorium, which was dedicated in 1969. This 670-seat theater has been the home of the campus? Artist & Lecture Series, Bunny Hollow Players, Fantastic Free Fridays Series, and the Casper Lecture Series. From The Guess Who to the Moscow Ballet and from Beverly Sills to Maya Angelou, Dave Finkelman Auditorium has been the home of many of the campus? most memorable cultural events. Over the years the auditorium has been a cultural home for many area groups, from the Middletown Symphony, Southwestern Ohio Symphonic Band, Middletown Lyric Theatre, and many dance recitals. Les Landen, Mike McVey and Jeff Sams invites you to share your stories from your favorite performances and share what really goes on back stage and in the sound booth. If you have any tickets or programs we encourage you to bring them to share.
