The keynote speaker, legendary Chuck D, who is the leader and co-founder of seminal rap group Public Enemy, will help us explore the strides in race relations that have occurred over the past 50 years, areas for continued advancements, and ways that rap, as a musical genre with an original focus of promoting social justice/activism, can be used to encourage various generations to engage in discussions about ways to advance positive race relations in our society.
