UC Health West Chester Hospital’s Annual Fall Golf Classic Fundraiser Is September 24
Local Community is Invited to Participate
CINCINNATI (Friday, September 10, 2021) — UC Health’s West Chester Hospital announces its Ninth Annual Fall Classic Golf Outing to raise funds for hospital programs and services on Friday, Sept. 24, at City of Mason Golf Center, 6042 Fairway Drive, Mason, OH 45040. Residents within the local community are invited to participate.
This year’s beneficiaries include the West Chester Hospital Maternity Services program as well as scholarships for local high school students.
The event is unique in that the hospital collaborates with the Mason-Deerfield (MADE) Chamber of Commerce for the annual “Taste of MADE,” featuring gourmet food bites from an array of local restaurants scattered throughout the golf course.
Using a four-person scramble format, the event begins at 8 a.m. with check in and breakfast, and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch is provided, along with heavy hors d’oeuvres during the presentation of awards and prizes in the afternoon.
“This annual event enables West Chester Hospital to join in with local community members to participate in a fun day of golf while enjoying delicious foods to support our local restaurant retailers,” states Tom Daskalakis, FACHE, chief administrative officer. “In addition, this event allows us to raise much-needed funds for the improvement and enhancement of patient care programs and services at West Chester Hospital.”
Focused on providing outstanding care and exceeding the needs of our patients, West Chester Hospital Maternity Services includes spacious delivery suites, Caesarean-section operating rooms and triage rooms. The Special Care Nursery functions as a Level IIB neonatal intensive care unit staffed by UC Health obstetrics and gynecology specialists. To make the hospital experience special and memorable, parents are treated to a special “date night” celebratory dinner, baby’s birthday cake and other sweet treats.
