Mental Health Recovery Board Serving Warren and Clinton Counties (MHRB) is statutorily created entity that plans, funds, monitors and evaluates for the mental health and substance abuse services for the community. The Mental Health Recovery Board Serving Warren and Clinton Counties supports a healthier community by investing in a system of mental health and substance use disorder services for the people of our counties. 
 
Currently, MHRB is seeking applicants for the Executive Director. The Executive Director must be an experienced professional with strengths in both internal and external environments.
 
Internally, the Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and  is responsible for operations, financial oversight, strategic planning, contracting, communications, levy success, human resources, and many other areas. Externally, the Executive Director must be aware of community perceptions and concerns, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and governmental authorities, and be available and responsive to community residents.
 
The major areas of responsibility are:

  1. System Planning and Management
  2. Fiscal Management
  3. Personnel Management
  4. Stakeholder Relations
  5. Relationship with Board

This position requires a master’s degree in a mental health or addictions related profession and experience in program management and administration. Other advanced degrees may be considered, provided the candidate has a deep understanding of the behavioral health field. Five (5) years of experience in a leadership position is preferred.
Salary range: $110,000 to $169,000
