DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 29 at 6:30pm grab your fancy hats\, dust off that seer sucker suit and join Countryside YMCA for our first virtual "Thurby" Fundraiser. With the Kentucky derby just days later\, we'll see how quickly we can race to the finish and raise the funds needed to sponsor our outreach programs for Warren County.\n\n \n\nThe hour long virtual event includes: \n\n	Mixology lesson to make the perfect Buckeye Vodka Cooler\n	Online Horse Racing Game by MeetMax Games\n	Guest Speaker\n	Live and Silent Auction\n	Best Derby Dressed Ensemble\n	Kentucky Derby Trivia \n\nProceeds from the event help to support the YMCA Annual Campaign\, which provides funding for the many worthwhile outreach programs and services offered at the Y\, such as summer camp scholarships\, preschool outreach\, and membership financial aid.  One unique program supported by the Annual Campaign is the LIVESTRONG  at the YMCA program which gives cancer survivors a safe\, supportive environment to participate in physical and social activities focused on strengthening the whole person.\n\n \n\nRegistration is $25. If you cannot attend the Thurby\, you can still bid on silent auction items. Anyone can attend the event\; you do not have to be a Countryside YMCA member.
