SUMMARY:Project ROAM Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Reaching Out to Amateur Musicians
DESCRIPTION:Project ROAM is a new initiative of the Cincinnati Symphony & Pops Orchestras that exists to connect \n\n	amateur musicians in the greater Cincinnati region with the professional musicians\, conductors\, and staff of the CSO. Each CSO ROAM experience involves a rehearsal led by a CSO Conductor\, sectional coaching with CSO musicians\, dinner\, and a free\, informal performance for family and community members. CSO Project ROAM explores a different major work drawn from the symphonic literature at each experience. \n\n	We are collaborating with the West Chester Symphony Orchestra for this inaugural Project ROAM experience which will take place on Sunday\, May 6\, 2012 from 2:00pm - 7:30pm. The Project ROAM orchestra will be working on Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 and will perform this at the free concert which will start at 7:00pm \n\n	Whether you play every day or you haven't played in a few years\, please consider joining us for this exciting event. We are looking for musicians who are at least of high school age and have some experience playing. You do not have to belong to a group already\, and the best part is\, you don't even have to audition!
