DESCRIPTION:WHY DANCE?\n\n\n\nChildhood obesity is a critical issue for young children in America. Dance is a fun\, easy way to introduce physical activity into your family's routine while enjoying quality time together. Primrose Schools encourages healthy activities in our schools every day through our Thumbs Up! physical education program. The Family Dance-off is a great way to share the lessons we've learned about encouraging healthy lifestyle habits for our children with our friends\, families and communities.\n\n\n\nCHARITABLE PARTNERSHIP\n\n\n\nThe Family Dance-off supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals\, a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals\, which collectively treat 17 million children annually for every illness and injury imaginable.\n\n\n\nPRIZES\n\n	This year\, Primrose Schools will donate $65\,000 to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in the top three winning families' hometowns. The 14 finalist entries will be judged by a panel of judges on number of votes received during finalist week voting (March 20-26)\, creativity\, originality and humor. Fourteen weekly finalists will complete for the following prizes:\n\n	 \n\n	Grand Prize\n\n	$5000\n\n	Primrose will make a $30\,000 donation to your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital\n\n	\n\n	2nd Prize\n\n	$3000\n\n	Primrose will make a $20\,000 donation to your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital\n\n	\n\n	3rd Prize\n\n	$1500\n\n	Primrose will make a $15\,000 donation to your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital\n\n	\n\n	All Finalists\n\n	A FLIP camcorder \n\n	\n\n	ELIGIBILITY\n\n	\n\n	The contest is open only to individuals who are 21 years of age or older and are the parent/legal guardian of the children featured in their submission. There can be only one submission per person and per email address.\n\n	\n\n	VOTING\n\n	\n\n	Individuals must register at www.FamilyDanceoff.com using their email address to either enter the contest or vote. Registration will require an email confirmation. Each email address is allowed five votes per day. The two videos with the highest number of cumulative votes at the end of each week will become the weekly finalists.
