During the next decade Hot Rize appeared frequently on such national broadcasts like A Prairie Home Companion and Ralph Emery Show. The group has performed in almost every state\, as well as Europe\, Japan\, and Australia. The band played together and issued 6 studio albums until they disbanded in 1990. Following the death in 1999 of Charles Sawtelle\, Hot Rize re-grouped in 2002\, adding Bryan Sutton to play the guitar.
