DESCRIPTION:Connections MADE Meet & Eat 2.2 is Mason Deerfield Chamber's popular networking event and offers lunch provided by a rotating member restaurant or venue. During the meeting members have a brief opportunity to introduce themselves and their business to the group\, connect with new members\, and expand their personal and professional networks. Newly reimagined in 2022\, this year's event will also include a featured speaker\, or panel of speakers\, who will be discussing topics of interest concerning the greater MADE region.\n\n\n\nIn September we will be discussing the regional impact of the Western & Southern Open. We are delighted to welcome Matt Alexander\, VP of Revenue & Marketing with the Western & Southern Open\, and Scott Hutchinson\, Director of Marketing & Communications with the Warren County Convention and Visitors Bureau\, as our featured speakers. \nSeptember's Featured Speakers\n\nMatt Alexander\n\nVP of Revenue & Marketing\, Western & Southern Open\n\nMatt Alexander is the VP\, Revenue and Marketing of the Western & Southern Open. Previously joining the Western & Southern Open\, Matt worked in the Cincinnati area\, having been Vice President of Sales and Marketing at nearby Kentucky Speedway. In addition to his motorsports experience\, which includes serving as President of Chicagoland Speedway - Alexander's two-decade career includes roles at the USGA's U.S. Senior Open and FIFA's Women's World Club in addition to agency work. He is a Miami (OH) University graduate and his first job after graduation was working for Jack Nicklaus and the Memorial Golf Tournament.\n\n\n\n \n\nScott Hutchinson\n\nDirector of Marketing & Communications\, Warren County CVB\nScott Hutchinson is the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau\, a professional destination marketing organization that promotes Warren County and its numerous tourism attractions "as Ohio's Largest Playground" to prospective out-of-town visitors. An employee of the WCCVB since 2014\, Scott oversees the bureau's marketing efforts\, managing its advertising and public relations campaigns\, as well as the production of its blog content\, e-newsletters and annual Visitors Guide. Prior to joining the WCCVB\, Scott held internship roles with the Cincinnati Enquirer\, the Western & Southern Open and Ryan Partnership - a creative agency in Columbus\, Ohio. Scott is a 2013 graduate of Ohio University and 2009 William Mason High School alum. Scott and his wife Andrea currently reside in Cincinnati.
